Covid 19 Updates

ALA will follow First Christian Church Arlington's guidelines which also follows CDC guidelines, which recommends that anyone that is unvaccinated should continue to wear a mask. ALA will not require proof of vaccination nor inquire about vaccine status.

Parents should monitor their children for illness. If a fever of 100.0 Fahrenheit or higher is recorded, the family should not come to ALA until child is fever-free for 24 hours. Students, teachers, and staff should stay home when they have signs of any infectious illness and be referred to their healthcare provider for testing and care. If you or anyone in your family tests positive for Covid following attendance at ALA please report that to a board member.

Regular handwashing or hand sanitizing are recommended.

We want to promote a culture of respect. As this is a controversial topic, we need to make sure scholars and junior school students are coached at home on how to have respectful conversations about this topic at Liber. Teasing or pestering classmates about wearing masks or not wearing masks will be considered bullying. Bullying in any form is unacceptable. Any additional guidelines around bulling can be found in our Student Rules of Conduct and in our Parent and Student Handbook.
